The Nepal Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery Society (NCCRS) is a specialized professional organization dedicated to the advancement of Corneal, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery specialties in Nepal. As a sub-specialty society, NCCRS concept was first proposed in 2018 and it finally got registered in Kathmandu Municipal Corporation on 29th November 2020. General ophthalmologists and cataract surgeons have also become members of NCCRS. This sub-specialty society focuses on enhancing the quality of eye care in these specific areas through education, research, and clinical practice improvements.
