Over the years, we have witnessed remarkable progress in corneal transplantation, cataract surgery techniques, and refractive procedures. These achievements are a testament to your dedication, skill, and willingness to embrace evolving technologies and best practices. As we move forward, it is essential that we continue to strengthen our collaborative efforts, promote continuous medical education, and uphold the highest standards of patient care.
Our mission remains clear: to reduce preventable blindness and improve visual outcomes across the nation. By fostering research, encouraging knowledge exchange, and supporting young ophthalmologists, we can ensure a brighter future for eye care in Nepal.

On this occasion, I would also like to extend a warm welcome to all the participants, speakers & delegates who are attending the 2nd  Nepal, Cornea, Cataract & Refractive Surgery Society conference in Kathmandu. This conference will provide an excellent platform for learning, collaboration & exchange of ideas among experts & practitioners from Nepal & around the world. NCCRS is committed to promoting excellence in clinical practice, education & research. Through scientific sessions, panel discussion, instructional courses and interactive exchanges we aim to foster professional growth & strengthen our collective efforts towards preventing blindness & improving visual outcomes for our patients.
